Tree Inspections Commercial
We undertake a wide range of tree reports and surveys on behalf of statutory bodies, estates and property developers. Our reports are designed to comply with the requirements of BS5837:2005
Roadside Trees and Trees in areas of Public Access
We can advise landowners on the need for such surveys and the regularity that a survey is required. We can undertake surveys using digital mapping or conventionally on paper maps. The type and nature of the survey will be specified and generally places trees into categories so that the trees of greatest concern/risk are highlighted. Surveys generally include description of tree, species, height, age, condition and also a specification of works required with indicative costings.
Trees in Relation to Construction
Prior to proposed developments we can advise on the condition and suitability of trees present, providing a detailed report which will indicate which trees are worthy of retention and which can be removed.
We can assist in providing advice where Tree Preservation Orders and Local Authority Conservation Areas may restrict a landowners ability to develop the site.
Ultra-Sonic Decay Detection
Where trees are of cultural or landscape importance and where there is a degree of concern over the impact of the failure of the tree in respect of health and safety for employers and the public we can undertake an ultra-sonic survey which will determine the presence of decayed timber in the main trunk of the tree which may not be revealed through a tree condition report based on visual indicators of tree health.
